User Analytics New Features: View Presets, AI Sources Filter, Session Number Filter & Display

We bring you the latest updates for Amethyst.

Add Preset Views to User Analytics Projects

You can now create views from presets in User Analytics projects.

New Projects: Select presets in the project creation dialog to set up commonly used analysis views from the start.

UA Preset Selection

Existing Projects: Hover over a project name in the sidebar and select “Create views from presets” from the ”…” menu to add the presets you need.

Add Presets to Existing Projects

Presets are organized into three categories: “By Device”, “Site Behavior”, and “Traffic Sources”, enabling you to start purpose-driven analysis immediately. All presets are selected by default, so you can simply deselect any you don’t need.

Bulk Traffic Analysis with AI Sources Filter

An “AI Sources” group has been added to the User Analytics Sources filter. This group includes domains from 25 major AI services such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, with the following features:

  • Grouped Display: AI-related sources are displayed as an independent group
  • Bulk Selection: Select or deselect all AI sources at once using the parent checkbox
  • Collapsible: Collapsed by default to keep the interface clean

AI Sources Filter

With increasing traffic from AI services, this feature enables efficient traffic source analysis.

Minor Changes

  • Fixed an issue where importing large numbers of URL groups was taking too long
  • Fixed an issue where comma-containing status values in Index Worker URL filters (e.g., “Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user”) are now properly handled
  • Fixed duplicate values appearing on chart Y-axes
