Amethyst AI is now generally available!

We bring you the latest updates for Amethyst.

Amethyst AI is now generally available

Amethyst AI, which had previously been available for free, is now generally available as a paid option for Amethyst.
Existing customers can continue using AI Standard at no additional cost.

Advanced models and monthly usage limits are now in place

Advanced models such as Claude Opus and Gemini Pro had previously been available at no additional cost, but will no longer be available without AI PRO or AI MAX.
Analysis with Claude Haiku, Sonnet, and Gemini Flash will continue to be available with AI Standard.
We have also introduced monthly AI usage limits that reset each month, and remaining usage can be checked from the settings page.

Amethyst AI now handles visualization, scoped context, and many more operations

Amethyst AI can now return tables and charts as visualizations, making analytical answers easier to understand at a glance.
You can also use @ mentions to select a project or view before sending a message, so conversations start with the right context.
In addition, many new tools have been added, including workspace user actions, service account operations, Search Console property deletion, notification updates, and inbox retrieval. As a result, a large share of the day-to-day operations you perform in Amethyst can now be handled directly through Amethyst AI.

Minor Changes

Improvements

  • Workspace user lists and user role changes can now be handled from Amethyst AI.
  • Inbox notifications and notification setting updates are easier to manage from Amethyst AI.
  • Shared chats are now shown by default in the AI history sidebar, making team handoffs easier.
  • You can now sort the User Analytics detail table by every dimension column in ascending or descending order.

Bug Fixes

  • Improved the guidance and guard flow when a model is not available on the current contract tier, so users are led to an available model more clearly.
  • Improved quota warnings and send blocking behavior near or at the monthly limit, so the UI stays aligned with the current contract state.
  • Fixed saved User Analytics views so geographic filters for countries, regions, and cities are preserved and restored correctly when the view is reopened.
