Weekly and monthly dashboard aggregation is now available!
We bring you the latest updates for Amethyst.
Switch between daily, weekly, and monthly dashboard aggregation
Weekly and monthly aggregation has been added to Search Analytics and User Analytics time-series cards on dashboards. You can now review trends by week or month alongside daily changes.
On the dashboard page, open “View” and choose “Aggregation period”. Your selection is saved in the URL, so people you share it with can view the same aggregation period. Index Worker cards continue to display daily data.
Attach CSV and other text files to Amethyst AI
CSV, plain text, Markdown, JSON, and other text files can now be attached to AI chats. You can ask questions about their contents without pasting the text into your message.
Text files must use UTF-8 encoding. Attachments are limited to 64 KiB per text file and 128 KiB in total.
Manage Metric Watch with Amethyst AI and MCP
You can now ask Amethyst AI in your browser to list, create, edit, enable, disable, and delete Metric Watch rules. Describe the metrics and conditions you want to monitor to set up a rule.
Rules can also be managed through AI tools connected via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), or with the watch-rules command in the Amethyst command-line interface (CLI).
Minor Changes
Bug Fixes
- Fixed User Analytics filter display when the same condition appears more than once in the URL, and restoration of values containing commas or backslashes.
- Fixed issues where filters specified for User Analytics analysis in Amethyst AI could be ignored or include empty values.
- Fixed failures to save Amethyst AI chats with certain tool results, and missing confirmation prompts that could leave conversations stalled. Also fixed automatic approval being turned off when sending a message.
- When a network connection is lost in Amethyst AI, a message now asks you to check your connection, and your input is retained so you can resend it.
- Fixed HTML tags being displayed as plain text in inbox notification details.
