Inline name and description editing is now available!
Here are the latest updates to Amethyst.
Edit names and descriptions in place
You can now rename a view or add to its description while working on your analysis. Use the pencil icon next to the title to edit it in place.
This is available in saved Search Analytics and User Analytics views, Index Worker details, the project list, and boards. In Index Worker, you can edit the name and memo.
Saving a name or description does not save filter changes you are still trying out. You can update these details separately from your analysis conditions.
Share User Analytics chart display settings with a URL
You can now share chart display settings from the User Analytics detail view with a URL. The recipient can open the chart with the same display settings without having to configure each option themselves.

In the list view, metric cards now follow the project’s shared settings. Each user can still choose which of those metrics to plot on the chart.
When display settings are missing from the URL, the view’s settings saved on the device are used. If none are saved, the project defaults apply. Use Reset to restore the project defaults.
About your previous display settings: Metric display settings saved on a device in the previous format are not carried over. When the URL does not specify these settings, the project defaults apply. Please select your preferred metrics again if needed.
See memos from the comparison period on your charts
We have fixed an issue that kept comparison-period memos from appearing on charts in Search Analytics, User Analytics, and Index Worker. You can now review notes about past initiatives and events alongside changes in your metrics.
Comparison memos are distinguished by hatching and dashed lines. Open a memo to see its original date and content.

Screenshots show the Japanese interface. The memo is a sample for illustration.
Minor Changes
Improvements
- Applied filters in Search Analytics and User Analytics have been made easier to read and can now be collapsed when there are many conditions.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Amethyst AI calculating context usage from total token consumption. Token consumption is now shown separately from an estimate of how much of the AI model’s context capacity is in use. This estimate is based on the last model call.
- Fixed message submission errors in Amethyst AI on the Index Worker execution plan page.
- Addressed Amethyst AI providing nonexistent page URLs or Session Explorer URLs missing the session selection when linking to referenced screens.
